3/28/10 Father and Son Alaska

Father and son from Alaska, both fishing fanatics, willing and ready for everything we threw at em.
Surprise came early missing a blue about 250 on the long corner. Took the lure and made one jump then came off, tough luck but its still early. We trolled around some more coming up to a fad, very rough conditions but we managed to pick off a little big eye tuna. Weather was pretty unforgiving so we headed for home.
Up comes another blue about 300 on the same lure, it switched over to the long rigger, quickly ate and took off peeling line. Good fight for 18 year old Bryan, just when we had it close the hooked pulled. They were ecstatic, different experience, nothing like catching a salmon or halibut back home in Alaska.
Good fun fishing with the two of them, see you guys soon!

Aloha, Capt. Teddy Hoogs
